I am a first generation Entrepreneur. My experience with TIIC has been wonderful. In 1998, we started a manufacturing unit for conversion of fabric to jumbo bags. I started my enterprise on a   very small scale with financial assistance from a Nationalized bank. In the first year itself, we were able to secure a good market for our products and grew confident about the business. However, financial support from the bank was not adequate to help us   expand our business. At that time, we approached TIIC. They extended full co-operation  - right from the branch level upto the DGM and Chairman Office at the head office, Chennai.  We had started with an initial investment of Rs. 60 lakhs . With TIIC’s support through loan of Rs 4 Crores,  our turnover has increased from  Rs 15 lakhs during the 1st year to Rs.8 crores  during the last financial year and we are expecting a turnover of Rs.15 crores during the current financial year.. Today, we have 180 employees and we can provide employment to 200 people in future. We are proud to have TIIC partnering our progress. We are indeed thankful to TIIC for assisting us in becoming a leading manufacturer of Jumbo bags in the southern zone.
