1. The Scheme: The scheme provides assistance to set up Computer Training Institute.

2. Eligibility: The main promoter should be qualified with a Degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology or Degree in Engineering with Diploma in Computer Science or MCA or M.Tech/M.Sc.,Computer Science.The unit shall be located where there is scope for business activity and it shall be at District Head Quarters or major Municipal Towns only. The assistance will be extended for new Computer Training Centres/Institutes/Technical Training Centres and also for existing computer training centres going in for expansion / modernisation/diversification who has a franchise agreement with reputed computer Training Institute. The Training Centre / Institute shall be registered with Directorate of Training and Employment.

3. Purpose: The loan shall be extended for construction of building and acquisition of equipments such as Computers, Licensed Software, Computer Furniture, Classroom Furniture, Airconditioners, Ups, Printers, Overhead Projectors besides electricals.

4. Project Cost: Need based

5. Promoters' Contribution: Minimum promoters' contribution shall be 35%

6. Debt Equity Ratio: The DER shall be 2 : 1 maximum

7. Repayment: Loan shall be repaid within three years excluding initial moratorium of 6 months to one year. Repayment shall be on monthly basis.

8. Collateral Security: Collateral Security to the extent of 100% of loan amount by way of City/Town property shall be offered. If primary security includes land and building then collateral shall be 50%. If unit is promoted by Professionals with relevant qualifications then collateral security to be offered shall be 50% of the loan amount as against 100% for others.

9. Others: The proposal shall not be considered under any special schemes like NEF, MUN, Soft Loan, TAHDCO/Semfex etc.Subsidy will not be considered for this project even if the unit undertakes Software development along with Training of students.
