1. The Scheme: The scheme is to provide financial assistance for the construction of Warehouse / Storage Facility predominantly for storing goods manufactured by SSI units thereby providing a necessary infrastructural facility to this sector.

2. Eligibility: Corporate Bodies, Partnership and Proprietary concerns are eligible to avail assistance under this scheme. The Godowns / Warehouses shall be located in places having good scope and business potential, proximate to Railway Station and Industrial Estates.

3. Purpose: To construct Warehouse / Storage Godown and to purchase material handling equipments. The equipments such as overhead cranes, forklifts, weighing machines, cold storage facilities can also be considered for assistance.

4. Project Cost: Need based.

5. Promoter's contribution: The minimum promoter's contribution shall be 35% of project cost.

6. Repayment period: Maximum of 9 years including initial moratorium of upto 2 years.

7. Collateral security: Collateral security of not less than 50% of loan amount shall be offered.  Higher collateral security may be stipulated wherever considered necessary.
